GOTS Certification

Since the year 2011 we annually decorate our weaving mill and our products with one of the highest textil-certification: The GOTS Certifation. The Global Organic Textile Standard is recognised as the world's leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres. It defines high-level environmental criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain and requires compliance with social criteria as well.

IVN Best Label

Our weaving mill is also IVN-Best certified. IVN (International association of natural texil economy) is an association of over 100 companies from all stages of leather and textile manufacturing that stand for ecological and socially responsible production.

The environmental thought

Special consideration is given to the ecological effect and transparency of production as well as to the durability of our products.

 

All processing and refining, with the exception of dying, is done mechanically and by natural means. We only use flax from France, Belgium and Netherland. Every single Vieböck-fabric and every Vieböck-hometextil is made in our weaving mill in Helfenberg.
