What is a pompadour?
A classic pomadour is a small, pouch-like ladies' handbag. This accessory was worn on special occasions. A few decades ago, the original shape and function of this bag was modified at Vieböck. The "Vieböck pompadour" was "cut to size" for everyday use.
The elegant little bag became a shopping bag with metal rings and a reversible function. In most cases, one side was made from pure linen and the other from cotton. However, with the later arrival of cheap paper and plastic bags, the iconic "Vieböck pompadour" disappeared from everyday use.
Too bad - in our opinion.
A new "Vieböck-Pompadour" is needed!
After a few test runs, we can now present the Pompadour 2.0. Bigger, more beautiful and more practical. The new edition consists of a jade green and an anthracite gray linen fabric. The characteristic metal rings have been retained and covered with linen.
Whether it's a visit to the market or a "city stroll" - the new Vieböck pompadour is a real space miracle and an aesthetic companion.
