The hemp-plant is currently experiencing an amazing comeback. The green all-rounder offers a wide range of possible applications: as an insulating material, in medicine, in paper production, in the food industry and, of course, in textiles. The new, natural hemp fabric from Vieböck is enjoying particular popularity. The warming hemp fabric is extremely robust and has a very soft and supple feel. These "hemp duvet covers" are sewn for you by Christine with much love. The hemp fabric was of course woven in our manufactory in Helfenberg. Why hemp bedding?
Pure hemp is particularly breathable, the material absorbs a lot of moisture and quickly releases it into the environment. These temperature-regulating properties ensure a comfortable night's sleep. The natural fiber hemp feels warm on our skin. Due to its warming character, we also describe our hemp bedding items as winter bedding.
7.2 hours a day:
On average, every Austrian sleeps 7.2 hours a day. This means that we spend almost a third of our lives in our beds. Nowadays, more and more people are questioning the origin, processing and materials of their home textiles.
At Vieböck, we mainly use flax from European cultivation. The raw fiber comes from France, Belgium and the Netherlands. All fabrics are woven in Helfenberg and finished in our in-house sewing room.
Sampling & exceptions to the right of withdrawal:
Leinenweberei Vieböck offers a free fabric sample service. Up to five fabric samples can be requested free of charge. This allows the customer to get a clear picture of the coloring and material properties. Leinenweberei Vieböck GmbH recommends ordering a sample (before placing an order). All of our bedding is custom-made - there is therefore no right of withdrawal for this product category.
