Baker´s cloth.
The raw linen fabric 222, also known as baker's couche, finds usage in big bakeries as well as private kitchens of passionate hobby bakers. It is a very sturdy, pure material.
This natural, raw linen serves and supports doughs while rising. Thanks to the moisture regulating characteristics of the material, the prevention of a dried out dough increases. Furthermore, the goods won't stick to the linen fibers.
This popular, natural linen fabric is used to make baker cloths in two dimensions:
Baker's couche - dough cloth: 50 x 80 cm
Baker's couche - dough cloth: 50 x 140 cm
The baker's couche should be sprinkled with flour before the first usage.

Use much water and fill up the washing mashine just with half volume. -
Do not use a optical whitener.
Please use a light-duty detergent. The detergent should not contain any optical whitener or bleach. -

Select the lowest spin-drying programme (400-600 roundes per minute).
