When selecting wool yarns, it was particularly important to us that they come from mulesing-free sources. The mulesing process is a painful "operation" on sheep in which the folds of skin on the hindquarters are removed with scissors without anesthesia - for us, "supporting" this painful procedure was out of the question. We therefore decided to work with Leichtfried-Loden the colorful wool comes from them.
