Leinen & Leberkäse
What started as a joke turned into a production line. When we opened our store in downtown Vienna in November 2025, we were still on the hunt for typical Austrian embroidery designs. That’s how our kitchen towel featuring an embroidered Leberkässemmerl came to be.
This dish towel has become an extremely popular souvenir. Safely stowed in carry-on luggage, these fabric “Leberkässemmerln” are making their way all over the world: the United States, Canada, China, England, the Netherlands, and Australia. Now also available online.
These kitchen towels are sewn for you with lots of love by Andrea and Ulrike. The linen was, of course, woven in our weaving mill in Helfenberg. More information about our staff and the weaving mill.
The embroidery was done by our long-time embroidery partner, Ms. Christine Dotzauer

The benefits of a linen glass cloth:
You’ll love drying your glasses with this fine, thin linen! This natural material is highly absorbent, dries very quickly, and leaves no streaks. Of course, you can also use our glass towels as kitchen towels and dish towels.
Please wash 2–3 times at 60° before first use.
Please note our care instructions.
