What it takes...

...for the sustainable fabric.

An ingenious plant...

For our linen fabrics and linen products, we mainly source flax from European cultivation, predominantly France, Belgium and the Netherlands.

The advantages of flax

The advantages of this special plant are obvious: flax is a resource-saving and sustainable plant that loves poor soils and requires neither fertilizer nor artificial irrigation. In comparison, 1 kilogram of cotton requires around 11,000 liters of water.

"The main objective when weaving is just not to lose the thread."

Where all threads meet.

The linen yarns are processed by our dedicated weaving employees. No foreign materials are processed at Vieböck. All Vieböck fabrics are produced in our own manufactory in Helfenberg.

Every single centimeter...

... is checked thoroughly. In our fabric inspection department, every fabric is meticulously examined. Flaws and defects are identified and repaired.
