Mühlviertler quality since 1832

For 180 years "Vieböck" is weaving linen- and cotton fabrics. Thereby the "Mühlviertler" linen weaving mill deserves to the oldest and most traditonal weaving mills in Austria. 

“Our company continues the tradition of high quality woven textiles made with the exclusive use of natural fibres. We preserve traditional weave patterns - combining them with contemporary design", says the managing director Johann Kobler.

We represent the brand ‘Weave from the Mühlviertel’ with commitment and pride. Our roots belong to this region, which has been shaped by the history and culture of linen weaving.

Special consideration is given to the ecological effect and transparency of production as well as to the durability of our products.

All processing and refining, with the exception of dying, is done mechanically and by natural means. We take great care to ensure that the linen fibre we use is grown in an environmentally sustainable way and grown under certified biological control (kbA).

The textiles are used in various ways – for example by the meter for traditional and contemporary fashion; or made into kitchen- and table wares, kitchen towels, hand- and bath towels, bed covers, curtains, bathrobes and shirts by our in-house sewing workshop.
